My Message to all "Drawers"

i Knew a Boy who liked to draw,he drew pictures that no one saw,he was most artistic late
at night,in the bathroom out of sight,he kept a secret no one knew,
he didnt tell a soul and his gallery grew,his drawings were different no paper or pen,
but he needed a bandage now and again,we stood by the river under the stars,
he rolled up his sleeves and showed me his scars,he felt embarrassed and looked down
at his shoe,then i rolled up my sleeves and whispered “i draw to”.

My years at ptengland were so short i will miss the school and the teachers huge thanks to mrs telea for helping me with everything and heapsof love to her and her new baby and thank you so much mrs ilaoa and mr wisemen i love my years there they were full of mischief but also fun and laughter thanks

i will miss being there so much but i hope to see you around t.c or something  ok  bye and best of luck to all the yr 8's for next year Mwahhh

Heartfelt truth

She's the type of girl that believes what goes around comes around,
the one that hopes for a better day,the one who won’t give up on you,
She's the girl that's unlike the rest.,the one who spent her days smiling and her nights crying,
the one who would love to be loved,she's the girl who looks so damn strong but feels so weak,
she's the one who picks herself up everytime she falls

She loves herself for the good times but beats herself up for the bad

After those times she spends her days in pain and sad

This may be something no one will see but just understand this is the real me

Add/sub decimals

This week we are learning how to add and subtract decimals with common knowledge from throughout the year here are some examples of how to add and subtract decimals

Term 3....
Term 3 well it was actually supposed to last longer but now we're already in term 4 and i don't  want to leave anyways
Term 3 was so much fun the laughs,the smiles the crack up fails all of this year i've been here was like that everyday and i thank the teachers and Mr Burt  for  everything and im sorry if this whole blog post is fob im just a natural fob anyways some of the best memories from term 3 were the kapa haka performances and the friendships we all made  those were great.During term 3 we had some Disagreements with each other but over time we got over them and some stay in the disagreement side for reasons but even though we have arguments or "fights" i still love this school and don't ever want to leave.



Term 4...
So we are already half way through term 4 and im already worried bout college but also worried about leaving and also Scared to go through a new stage in my life  to face the fears of college and doing different things rather than Intermediate stuff i guess that's got to be one of the scariest moments im going through at this moment.But there is also some good things that happened,over the weeks we had a haka off and it was soo fun i went Full maori Mode and so did the rest of us and we went to an Experience day at tamaki college to see what life at college would be like and that was actually pretty fun.After all those times we had our maniakalani film festival and athletics and those were some really coool times.

Baa baa black sheep and little bo peep’s sheep have had a baby, this might seem different as you might know but its fleece was as white as snow, soon mary had fallen upon this coincidence and stole the little lamb without innocence ,as she observed the little lamb,she blurted this is what  i had deserved, later her little lamb would start wandering and all she would do was discreetly start pondering, as she pondered she realised little bo peep would come looking for her sheep and bring it back to its parents after its little disappearance, as she thought along

came  baa baa black sheep who hit her on the head which drove into a deep sleep,

at the end of all this little bo peep still never found her sheep

Oh well maybe next time

Experience of Tamaki

Last week we had an experience day at tamaki college, what we did was experience what it would be like next year at tamaki college,
First we were split into 2 groups and we were sent to math and Science first and we learnt about adding up the cost of all the materials used to make towers and building and then we  learnt about different acids and the illusion of the mind .

Afterwards we had a quick lunch and then we went straight into our normal tech groups for  1 hr 45 mins
and just finished our food,sun catchers,graphics.Then we went back to the library to eat and we had subway sandwiches and white chocolate cookies,M&M cookies and  Chocolate Chip Cookies and then i won a tuck shop voucher card thing and bought garlic bread,juicie and popcorn i loved it it was so nice i cant wait to go there.


Finally we went to english class and  played kahoot and also we chose a nursery rhyme and put picture's on a google drawing that showed the line we picked from the nursery rhyme.Also me,judah and inez won a chocolate and we got it the next day and it.
After all that we went and played some games in the  basket ball court area and then we went off home.


It was the best day ever can't wait till next year:)

Athlletics Day 2017

Last week we had our athletics day. It was the perfect day to have it,it was so sunny and there was a nice breeze in the air.Anyways at athletics we were playing sports like Volley, Dodge ball and Relays and others. I've got to be honest out of all the days I've  experienced  It was one of the funnest days of my life.

So here is what happened this year we were split into year groups like normal and we were sent out for our first events. Usually  there are people everyone would see not wanting to even try but alot of them did i was so surprised to see atleast a hundred smiles upon peoples faces after all the first event.

My favourite event was volleyball. The reason being is because we were all in the competitive mood. While we were playing, the song Mi Gente came on and all of us just got into an energetic mood. We all just started dancing and playing volley at the same time. All of us were just having a great time. Daniella did an awesome kick of the ball. It was funny how she fell, but still she had fun anyways after all, we still had the best athletics day ever. It's got to be one of the best days I've ever had.

During the day we got to see the year 8 boys do some of there sports and they actually did amazing just like at aims the way siaosi did his jump and Tj at the end "WOW"outstanding i couldn't believe it.Also Judah's jump he tried his best he almost did it he just missed Better luck next time.








Hopefully next year the year 8's can come back and have another good time with the new yr 8's Good luck next year
to the Teachers Juniors and seniors.Just keep your confidence high and your worries low if you failed the jump or missed the throw just laugh because "to laugh at yourself is to love yourself "a little wisdom from me to you Have A Good Time.

A + I = M with Mr Patterson

This morning we had Mr Patterson come and see us and he taught us about goals in life like being a rugby player,artist or even travel the world and also the other side of things like  the money we might need for our goals in life.Like going college and thinking of our futures but we have to be sure to have a plan b cause we never know we might not achieve the first goal so we have a second one just in case.
           








"Be a giver not a taker" This Phrase he told us about it,about what it means it meant putting others before yourself,just like he did over the couple days.He told us a story about what he had done he had got a text saying your flight had been cancelled so the air nz had to put him and 199 more people in hotels for the night and as he looked back he saw a young couple with 3 kids under five so he allowed them to come in front of him and then the very first person in line said no they can come in front here and they were filled with happiness and everyone else started to think like that.







He also told us about a boy who helped a homeless man who had no marriage, no house and no job and everyday  that boy would give him food and money for atleast two weeks and after that the homeless man  walked him to school and told everyone how he had helped him and he got a gold certificate that are only given out once a year then a few days later the man who was homeless got a job and now lives in a rental home and is happy.









Before he had gone he had taught us about his formula  it goes like this A + I = M which means Aspiration +  Inspiration  = Motivation
as you might see it spells Aim as in Goal Aiming to do your besting and having a goal to set on our life's future it is actually very helpful the look on the  boys and girls faces looked interested like they were thinking about there futures already

What a Role model would look,sound and act like :)

What it means to be a good role model.

C	Conclusion - Final summarising statement, an evaluation or comment about what you have explained.

Title	What it means to be a role model
Introduction	Do you know what it takes to become a good role model? I'll be writing about what a good role model sounds,looks and acts like
Information 1st idea	A good role model would encourage you everyday to do your best or tell you to always get up when life knocks you down. A  role model will help you stay positive when times get tough and they will believe in you no matter what. A Good role model will build your confidence up even up to the point where you're living life on the edge. Just some of the things you might hear from people who inspire you
Information 2nd idea	A good role model could look like anyone,Anyone who inspires you,Anyone who helps you through anything,Anyone who would help you up when you're down. But you can’t just look and sound like a role model you have to act like one a good role model would act like a loving,proud,respectful person who takes life as an opportunity to be happy and inspire other people to be the best they can be
Information 3rd idea	A good role model would look,sound and act  like your parents the people who brought you up with no one to go to when help was needed,the people who help,care for and love you,the people who kept a roof over your head throughout your whole life.The best role models anyone could have would probably be their parents If there's anyone who can compare to them is probably Jesus or the good lord ”Amen”
Conclusion	All these things are what it would take to be a good role model just like your parents or your teacher or your siblings. So are you a good role model?Do you know what it takes to become one? have a think because you might just be inspiring someone around you.

1st Day But Last Immersion Assembly of the year

Today's immersion assembly is the last one for me and the yr 8's it was kinda Lit and i like the new song mr burt,mrs nua,Mr j and mr wisemen sang and performed quite interesting,
 it was quite funny and pretty cool with the wairua song playing and everyone doing wairua i can't wait to see what this term has to offer its gonna be great i can tell watching all those funny acts and videos and the music changing it was truly "Musical Madness"

Team 1's Topic was emotions that you feel when music is on such as happiness,scared,rage all emotions you can feel while music is playing i wonder what they do with all these emotions maybe they could be filmed and we could take a look at what they have done

Team 2's  Topic was "in the jungle" The song from the lion king and the song little kids know today i think it was how music brought people together to have a good time and im not gonna lie it was amazing the singing the performing and i love Mrs Gastons Voice its so sweet with a melody








Team 3's topic was "Story telling through music" it was actually really funny and really cool how they put all the songs together and said them in a conversation and mr moran's expressions on his face really expressed the songs he was lip syncing Good luck to them








Team 4's topic was carpool karaoke and it was really really cool it was really interesting i can't wait 2 see what they come up with next
